Just chatting with Kelly over a couple sandwiches from Subway and taking a break between classes, we were discussing the fact that a lot of public information is now available over the internet and in many cases the challenge is just to find the right URL or right links to get what you want. For example, the names and addresses of landowners of record are available through the state of Tennessee, but you can’t Google anything to come up with the right URL for the information.

The same thing goes for other public records, like marriage licenses, divorce records and other Court Records. You have to know where to look. Some sites are free and other charge a nominal fee. In my opinion, I don’t mind paying a fee if the information is fast and reliable.

Driving across the U. S., there are sections of highway where you can see the tall white wind turbines that make up the wind farms for renewable energy. The wind turbines look like a mix between the old Dutch windmills and the propellers of a fantasy jet plane.

T. Bone Pickens recently announced plans to build a line line of wind turbines from the Canadian border south to Mexico. His idea is that the wind turbines can provide enough energy to heat and light the homes and businesses so that all the gas and oil that would have been spent on homes and businesses can be diverted to providing fuel for vehicles.

I think it is an awesome idea ad honestly don’t understand why someone in private industry had to be the one to come up with this idea and make it happen rather someone in the government making this work for all Americans.

Cleared it with the boss to take off for the Pennsylvania trip but the problem is payday comes after the trip and I need some cash before then.

   Well it really sucks when it’s Valentines Day and you have no one special in your life.  Everyone is planning their day and/or evening and I’m sitting here with nothing but mushy movies on the boob tube.  Perfect huh?  Well I can look at it this way, I’m saving a bunch of money.  You know, I could make some plans for next year IF I can find someone to celebrate with then.  You know, this is really a ‘girls’ holiday anyway.  All a guy hopes for is that he’ll get lucky
