Fixing Skin
Don’t ask me why but I happened to see a couple episodes of a cable show called “Starter Wife” and although I’m not a big fan of the show it won a big batch of Emmy’s last year for its first season. So they must be doing something right. The show is based in L.A. and the premise is that the main character just got dumped by her husband for a younger girl so she is trying to “find herself.” The fact that she is in L.A. makes it all that much more ironic, because in California it IS all about ME - and ESPECIALLY in L.A. I think there are more plastic surgeons and hair stylists in L.A. per capita than any place else in the world.
Not that there is anything wrong with plastic surgeons. In fact, I think plastic surgeons are awesome and can do wonderful things for people. There are accident victims, burn victims and crash victims that really need the help from a good plastic surgeon to regain their appearance and try to live normals lives. Then there are people for whom their appearance is how they make their living. Like actresses and strippers. They need help, too.
Even moms can use some help from a plastic surgeon sometimes. Like a woman who has has a caesarean section and needs a tummy tuck to get their shape back because the surgery damaged the muscles in their abdomen. These are all legitimate reasons to consult with a plastic surgeon and seek out their skills.
