Protecting Their Paws
German police dogs are being issued footwear to protect their paws.
I wonder if the girl dogs get pink shoes and the boy dogs get blue. Or all they all going to be standard blue police issue?
I wonder if all police dogs in Germany are German Shepherds? Do they use Labradors and Bloodhounds, too? Or is it a “German” thing with the Shepherds?
What is it about German streets that are tearing up the dogs paws? Only comment I could find was that the cobble stone streets make it hard for the street cleaner vehicles to get up all the broken glass. Why is there so much broken glass in the streets anyways?
